This stunning bowl is made from a piece of driftwood.
As I began turning it on the lathe I noticed it had a void running through the middle and off to the side. I got out as much of the rotten wood as possible and then placed it into a mould and filled it with green shimmering epoxy resin! Once fully cured I turned it into this masterpiece!
This serving board was made from two pieces of hardwood with the resin ‘river’ running through the middle, with a little twist!
The finished result showcases the purple tones of the resin layer below with the bottle caps sitting on top of it, whilst a thicker clear layer of resin encases everything.
