This was the damaged bench with tremendous sentimental value.
I replaced all wooden slats and fitted them all back to the original cast iron frame.
This bench had been with my client for 35 years and again had tremendous sentimental value.
I replaced all seat slats, back support and seat support pieces and fully sanded down.
The solid marble top was bought separately to this wash basin stand. I needed to widen the sliding joint to accept the marble top.
It also needed to be slightly taller to meet the client’s needs but the legs were turned on a lathe. So I turned some extra pieces on my lathe to match the existing legs.
This bench again had sentimental value. All wood was replaced as it had started to rot.
